What is FlareReach?
FlareReach is a professional email validation service that helps businesses verify email addresses in real-time through a simple REST API. We check syntax, domain validity, MX records, disposable providers, and mailbox existence to ensure your email lists are clean and deliverable.
How does email validation work?
When you submit an email address to our API, we perform a multi-step verification process. First, we validate the syntax and format. Then we check if the domain exists and has valid MX records. We cross-reference the address against known disposable email providers. Finally, we perform a mailbox-level check to determine if the specific address can receive messages, all without actually sending an email.
What types of checks do you perform?
Our validation pipeline includes: syntax verification, DNS and MX record lookup, disposable email detection (we track over 150,000 disposable domains), role-based address identification (e.g. info@, admin@), SMTP-level mailbox verification, and catch-all domain detection. Each check contributes to an overall validation result that you can use to make informed decisions.
How accurate is the validation?
Our validation engine achieves over 98% accuracy for deliverability predictions. However, some mail servers implement greylisting or accept-all policies that can affect results. We clearly flag these cases in our API response so you can handle them according to your own risk tolerance.
How fast is the validation?
Most validations complete in under 2 seconds. Simple checks like syntax and disposable detection are nearly instant. SMTP-level verification may take slightly longer depending on the target mail server's response time. Our infrastructure is designed for high throughput with minimal latency.
Pricing & Billing
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Annual plans include a 14-day free trial, and monthly plans include a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial period ends, and you can cancel anytime during the trial with no obligation.
Can I switch plans later?
Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time through the subscription management portal accessible from your dashboard. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Why choose an annual plan?
Annual plans save you up to 17% compared to monthly billing, plus you get an extended 14-day free trial (vs. 7 days for monthly). It's the same features at a lower effective rate, billed once per year for your convenience.
What happens if I exceed my monthly limit?
API requests beyond your plan's monthly quota will return an error response. Your existing validated data remains intact. You can upgrade your plan at any time to increase your quota, or wait for it to reset at the beginning of your next billing cycle.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel from the dashboard by clicking "Manage Subscription" on any active plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you'll continue to have access until then. We don't charge any cancellation fees.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as PayPal. Payments are processed securely through Paddle, our merchant of record. Enterprise customers can also arrange bank transfers and invoicing.
Technical
What programming languages are supported?
Our API is language-agnostic. You make standard HTTP GET requests and receive JSON responses. This means you can integrate FlareReach with any language or framework: Python, JavaScript, PHP, Ruby, Go, Java, C#, cURL, or anything else that can make HTTP calls.
How do I authenticate API requests?
Each request requires an API key passed in the request header. You can create and manage API keys from your dashboard. We recommend using separate keys for development and production environments. Each account supports up to 10 API keys.
Is there a rate limit?
Your rate is limited by your monthly validation quota. Within that quota, you can make requests as quickly as your application needs. Our infrastructure supports high-throughput scenarios. Enterprise customers with specific requirements can contact us to discuss dedicated capacity.
What does the API response include?
Each validation response includes the overall result (deliverable, undeliverable, risky, or unknown), whether the domain is a disposable provider, whether the address is role-based, MX record status, and the full syntax check result. You get all the data you need to make smart decisions about each email address.
Security & Privacy
Is my data secure?
Yes. All API communication is encrypted via TLS/SSL. We do not store the email addresses you validate beyond the time needed to process the request. Your API keys are stored with strong encryption, and we follow industry best practices for infrastructure security.
Do you sell or share validated email addresses?
Absolutely not. The email addresses you submit for validation are processed and discarded. We never sell, share, or use your data for any purpose other than providing the validation service. Your data is yours alone.
Are you GDPR compliant?
We are committed to GDPR compliance. We process personal data only as necessary to provide our service, and we offer a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for customers who require one. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
